Staff

The LaGrange County Soil and Water Conservation District exists as a division of state government, but is primarily funded by local government through LaGrange County.  Currently, the district has two full time employees, a permanent part time employee, and two part time clerical staff.  Additionally, the district contracts with a watershed coordinator to provide water monitoring, data collection, statistics analysis and best management practice implementation through a number of federal, state and local grants designed to study and improve soil and water quality issues.
